Error 14: Required License Key is Not Given message is appearing for Agilent 7890 GC - WKB12518

SYMPTOMS

• In Run Samples, when a run is initiated, the error message "Error 14: Required License Key is Not Given" appears.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 3
• Agilent 7890

CAUSE

Unknown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. go to Empower > Configure the System > Systems > Bring the GC system 'Offline'
2. Power-off the GC system.
3. Restart the PC.
4. Log into Windows.
5. Power-on the GC system.
6. go to Empower > Configure the System > Systems > Bring the GC system 'Online'
