CAUSE

Loose or poorly fitted exhaust tubing between instrument and trap bottle

Loose or poorly fitted fitting (e.g. 4 mm Legris PushFit elbow below the isolation valve)

Trap bottle lid needs to be tightened more

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Inspect the Source exhaust trap bottle during the source pressure test and search for location of potential nitrogen leak (e.g. hissing noise).
  2. Check that all fittings are correctly fitted to the trap bottle (see the "additional information" section here below).
  3. Remove and reinstall the different tubing.
  4. Rerun the source pressure test:

Open and close the source door.

or

Run the source pressure test via the software in use.
