CAUSE
Loose or poorly fitted exhaust tubing between instrument and trap bottle
Loose or poorly fitted fitting (e.g. 4 mm Legris PushFit elbow below the isolation valve)
Trap bottle lid needs to be tightened more
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Inspect the Source exhaust trap bottle during the source pressure test and search for location of potential nitrogen leak (e.g. hissing noise).
- Check that all fittings are correctly fitted to the trap bottle (see the "additional information" section here below).
- Remove and reinstall the different tubing.
- Rerun the source pressure test:
Open and close the source door.
or
Run the source pressure test via the software in use.
