Turbo pump issues on Vion IMS QTof (Guided Troubleshooting) - WKB95917

SYMPTOMS

Any or all of the following symptoms may be present:

• Pump or pumps do not start
• Turbo controller/turbo controller unit issues
• Vacuum or power issues
• Error messages
  • Including but not limited to:
    • "Turbo controller fault"
    • "Instrument vented due to pump failure"
    • Instrument does not vent with vent command; error "Vent timeout, override activated?"
    • “PUMP FAIL set vent to clear” error

ENVIRONMENT

• Vion IMS QTof

STRATEGY

1. Reset turbo controller modules - WKB1055
2. Replace/reseat Belleville washers – WKB48459
