• What to do with the instrument if it will not be shut down for a long time?

• MassLynx
• Xevo G2-XS
• SYNAPT G2-Si

PROCEDURE

• Lower the Source Temparature to room temperature.
• Switch to “Instrument Standby” on the Tune page.
• Turn off the nitrogen generator.

To switch to “Instrument Standby”

1. Open the Tune page in MassLynx.
2. From Setup menu, select System View.
3. Enter “access” for the password.
4. A red circle icon is displayed next to the Operate icon.
5. Click on the red circle icon.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Store LC with 100% organic for all solvents to avoid any microbial growth. Sample Manager and Column temperature can be switched off by entering zero as a temperature.
