SYMPTOMS
- Spliced in a T to supply nitrogen to QDa and ELSD from a single source
- Cycled power on QDa to reset instrument
- Ran system startup, see error "Failed to put QDa into operate"
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
CAUSE
Lack of nitrogen being supplied to the QDa as a result of splitting flow between ELSD and QDa
FIX or WORKAROUND
Remove the modification made to the N2 supply line.
