Desolvation temperature does not reach set point during acquisition with Xevo TQ-S - WKB92157

SYMPTOMS

• Desolvation temperature lower than set point while acquiring
• Desolvation fails to settle error
• Temperature is correct when not acquiring

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-S micro

CAUSE

Pos/Neg method and Positive and Negative tune page Desolvation temperatures don't match.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Make temperatures match between modes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The desolvation temperature takes seconds to tens of seconds to respond to a change. In a pos/neg acquisition the switch is happening on the order of fractions of a second. The temperature cannot adjust to either setpoint fast enough so it will sit at a value in between. 

Same issue can occur in Intellistart.
