MassLynx states "acquiring" but does not inject - WKB88943

SYMPTOMS

• Inlet method status is ready
• Communications to all modules
• Inlet method can be loaded
• When running a sample, MassLynx states "acquiring" but the bottom status bar remains at "instrument present"

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
• MassLynx 4.2

CAUSE

The ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector is in an unknown error state.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx and the MS Console
2. Run the StopMasslynxProcesses and StopAcquityProcesses
3. Power-cycle the QDa to clear the error state.
