Fluidics stops on the MS Console for the Xevo G2-XS - WKB82881

SYMPTOMS

• System had run out of nitrogen, but after resolving that issue the MS console is red with a message that the fluidics stopped for the Xevo
• Sample fluidics shows a message to purge to recover
• Reference fluidics shows idle

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• Xevo G2-XS
• Xevo TQ MS
• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-XS
• Xevo TQD
• Xevo TQ-S micro
• Xevo TQ-S cronos

CAUSE

Purge is not selected on the Tune page Fluidics tab.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the mass spectrometer's tune page.
2. Go to the Fluidics tab and select the sample fluidics section.
3. Click the button to Purge.
4. Wait for sample fluidics to be in Idle state, and then test.
