BioAccord LockSpray check and injection errors - WKB75317

SYMPTOMS

• On completion of the run there is a LockSpray "Check Error" message in the Health Center for the ACQUITY RDa and the analysis says "Injection Error"
• Following the health checks, purging the fluidics clears the error but the analysis is still stuck in an injection error
• Resubmitting samples results in a second LockSpray collection error

CAUSE

Insufficient LockSpray signal due to a dirty ion block and ion guide assembly

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the aperture disk.
2. Replace ESI capillary probe.
3. Clean the ion block and ion guide assembly.
