VION error: CCS not calibrated - WKB7003

SYMPTOMS

  • Cannot acquire CCS data
  • Can acquire Tof MS data

ENVIRONMENT

  • VION
  • UNIFI

CAUSE

The CCS calibrations are not calibrated and have been disabled in Quartz.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Have Waters rep log in to Quartz and ensure the CCS calibration is enabled
  2. Put Major Mix on C and Leucine Enkephalin on B
  3. Run instrument setup and complete the CCS calibration
  4. Acquire CCS data in analysis
