Random source exhaust warning messages on the Xevo TQD - WKB6964

SYMPTOMS

• Random source exhaust warning messages in the early morning hours
• Tubing from the MS to the trap bottle has a loop
• Cannot position trap bottle to eliminate loop
• Condensation appears in the tubing to the trap bottle
• Tubing from the trap bottle to exhaust goes straight up and has no condensation

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQD

CAUSE

The room temperature in the lab drops overnight, causing condensation in the tubing loop to the trap bottle.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Increase the lab room temperature slightly.
