ACQUITY TQD roughing pump (SV40) does not start - WKB6061

SYMPTOMS

• SV40BI FC pump purchased from Waters is installed, replacing SV40BI pump
• Select Vacuum > Pump, but roughing pump does not start

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

The wrong relay cable is connected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Connect the relay cable that comes with the SV40BI FC pump.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The cable for the SV40BI FC pump is different than the relay cable for the SV40BI pump. The relay cable for the SV40BI FC is 700004420 - Leybold SV40 Relay Cable.
