Analyzer vacuum failure with Xevo TQ-S - WKB6051

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot go into Operate mode
• "Analyzer vacuum failure" error message
• The rough (scroll) pumps are on, and the turbo speeds are at or close to zero (on the diagnostic/Diag tab)

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-S
• MassLynx 4.1

CAUSE

The power switches on the scroll pumps are set to the ON (|) position, but they should be set to the OFF (circle with a line through it) position.

The system is not instructed to pump down after a vent.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Switch the scroll pumps' power switches to the OFF (circle with a line through it) position. They pumps should now turn off.
2. On the Tune Page, go to Vacuum > Pump. The scroll pumps should turn on and, a minute or so later, the turbos should start spinning.
