How to save ACQUITY console plots in MassLynx and view them later - WKB604

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Save console plots and view them later.

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY console
• MassLynx

PROCEDURE

Note: You must have Windows administrative privileges to run the ACQUITY Plot Viewer from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\Bin folder. 

1. Open the console and select Plots in the left-hand pane.
2. Select Troubleshoot > Save plot file in the right-hand pane.
3. Select the appropriate plots.
4. Select the time range to save.
5. Click Browse, and then navigate to the location to save the file (*.plot) and name it.
6. Click OK.
7. Open Windows Explorer.
8. Browse to the saved file (*.plot), right-click, and select Open With.
9. Select the check box "Always use the selected program to open .plot files".
10. Select "Look for another app on this PC".
11. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\Bin.
12. Select ACQUITYPlotViewer.exe.
13. Click Open.
