Cannot perform IMS Pressure Setup on Vion; IMS Pressure Control Setup button is inactive or not present - WKB58900

SYMPTOMS

• IMS Pressure Control Setup button is inactive or not present
• "IMS pressure unlocked" error message

ENVIRONMENT

• Vion IMS QTof
• UNIFI

CAUSE

Instrument is in Standby and/or running on Vion Driver 3.1 with UNIFI 1.9.4.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Put the MS into Operate.
2. Determine if IMS pressure lock diagnostics have been run automatically (see "Additional Information"); if not, run IMS Pressure Control Setup manually. 
3. Lock IMS Pressure.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When using Vion driver 3.1 and UNIFI 1.9.4, it is normal that this option is not present. The IMS lock pressure diagnostic runs automatically when the MS is turned to Operate.
