"Blocked Aperture" error in UNIFI for RDa - WKB53240

SYMPTOMS

• Error in UNIFI: "Blocked Aperture"
• Backing pressure readback is lower than expected at 1.0 mbar

ENVIRONMENT

• RDa detector

CAUSE

Blocked aperture

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Sonicate the aperture.
2. Reinstall the aperture and confirm good backing pressure (usually 1.4 mbar).
3. If sonication can't restore the normal backing vacuum (resolve the issue), replace Aperture Disc (P/N 700012106)
