No signal on LockSpray beam for QTof using fluidics line B - WKB51661

SYMPTOMS

• No LockSpray signal when using line B on the reference probe
• Good signal on sample spray
• Change of LockSpray solution to line A or C brings good signal again

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo QTof
• Xevo Tof
• Xevo G2 QTof
• Xevo G2 Tof
• Xevo G2-S
• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

Blockage on the reference tubing on line B going from the solution to the reference valve

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the reference tubing for line B from solution to the reference valve. See Parts locator.
2. If the blockage occurred on the end of the tubing, use the PEEK cutter to cut the tip of the tubing.
3. Reconnect the tubing on the reference valve.
