No beam on Vion IMS QTof, and Cell 1 and Cell 2 HT voltages are 0 after electronics reboot - WKB30209

SYMPTOMS

• No beam on Vion IMS QTof after electronics reboot
• Cell 1 and Cell 2 tab readbacks are all 0
• Cell 1 and Cell 2 HT voltages are 0
• Voltages and beam return after Typhoon reset (Vion reset in UNIFI)
• Another electronics reboot causes the Cell 1 and Cell 2 voltages to go back to 0

ENVIRONMENT

• Vion IMS QTof
• Quartz

CAUSE

Communications issue caused by files on the UNIFI workstation

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Clean out UNIFI logs.
2. Save and close all work in progress.
3. Reboot the workstation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This fault was determined to be the workstation, because using a different UNIFI workstation resulted in the Vion working fine even after electronics reboot. However, reinstalling the Vion driver did not fix the system.
