Xevo G2 is unable to calibrate, residual mass increases with higher masses - WKB29612

SYMPTOMS

• Xevo G2 is unable to calibrate in Resolution mode (residual mass increases with higher masses; see figure below)
• System resolution was checked with leucine enkephalin, and it was very good (around 35000)

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

Low resolution when checked with GluFib.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Adjust resolution on the system using System 1 & 2 settings (Reflectron grid, Steering, Tube lens, Pusher offset) to reach the highest possible resolution for GluFib.
2. Calibrate the instrument.
