How to replace the fluidics tubing that goes to the A, B, or C bottles on a SYNAPT G2 - WKB29496

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Replace the orange tubing that goes from the sample valve (middle valve) to the A, B, or C bottles on the fluidics.

PROCEDURE

1. Open the door or doors by the fluidics (top and bottom).

2. Loosen and remove the fittings above the bottles.
3. On the sample fluidics valve (middle), loosen the fitting and remove the tubing that corresponds to the bottle the line to be replaced goes to (A = port 4, B = port 5, C = port 6).
4. Using tape, connect the new tube (from kit 700008827) to the old tube.
5. Pull the old tubing or push the new tubing through the panel to feed the new tubing into place.
6. Disconnect the old tubing and trim off the end with tape on it (using a proper tubing cutter).
7. Tighten the remaining fittings and close the door.
8. Put some IPA into a bottle in the position where the tubing was replaced.
9. Purge 4 or 5 times.
