Peak fronting appears again after initial tuning on Vion IMS QTof - WKB29462

SYMPTOMS

• Peak fronting
• Fronting is resolved after initial tuning, but returns after instrument resets

ENVIRONMENT

• Vion IMS QTof

CAUSE

New tuning parameters are not saved to factory defaults.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Tune the System 1 parameters Reflectron Grid, Pusher Offset, and Tube Lens to remove peak fronting.
2. On the Factory Parameters drop-down menu, click Save, to save the new tuning parameters to the EPC.
