Poor injection reproducibility on HDX-2 - WKB27516

SYMPTOMS

• Intensity of MS-TIC on HDX-2 automated injections is very varied.
• Retention Time is stable.

ENVIRONMENT

HDX-2 with PAL3 Automation

CAUSE

Issue may reside in the injection valve (V1). There may be dead volume or leaks in the fittings. Ports may be partially obstructed or the valve does not turn completely when switching.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Inspect and rebuild all connections to inject valve.
2. Retest with manual and automated injections. If the error persists, replace the valve.
