OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Reboot the EPC (embedded PC) on a Xevo system.
(This is required after restarting the acquisition PC and/or MassLynx.)

PROCEDURE
- Using the start menu, type "cmd".
- Open the "Command Prompt" app.
- In the command prompt app, type "telnet epc". This gives direct command control of the embedded PC in the MS via telnet.
- Type "Reboot" in the window next to the "->". This restarts the embedded PC on the MS.
- After five minutes, you can log back in to MassLynx.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This procedure should work on most Waters mass spectrometers.
