SYMPTOMS

• Frequent Lockmass check errors when using dynamic Lockmass on a BioAccord or ACQUITY RDA

ENVIRONMENT

• BioAccord
• ACQUITY RDA
• waters_connect 3.1.1 or preceding 

CAUSE

Over-attenuation of leucine enkephalin due to the attenuation of caffeine or pentane sulphonic acid

FIX or WORKAROUND

Do not use the dynamic lockmass option in the analysis method.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

A fix for this issue in the RDA driver will be released with waters_connect 3.2.0.
