ANSWER

This function can be selected in the UNIFI app > analysis method > Instruments > Xevo Gx QTof* > Options > Options pane.

See the screenshot below from a workstation PC under waters_connect 3.0.0 with Xevo G3 QTof driver 1.0.0.

Select On or Off.

If On, the software will monitor (by running check through the LockSpray or Reference or Lock correction or Lock mass sprayer before each analysis run) and adjust the detector voltage to maintain a steady ion intensity when running ESI experiments, and then flag the need to reset and rerun instrument setup (including detector setup).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In MassLynx 4.2, this function is called "Automatic Gain Control" and is found on the Instrument tab of the non-storage MS tune page.
