How to remotely reboot a Xevo G2-XS on MassLynx - WKB242476

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Remotely reboot a Xevo G2-XS that has communication to clear an error.

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS
• SYNAPT G2-Si

PROCEDURE

1. Close MassLynx software.
2. Run stop Acquity Processes.
3. Open the DHCP server and clear the Xevo G2-XS entry.
4. Open a RUN or CMD session and key: telnet epc.
5. Key: reboot 2. 
6. Key: enter to force reboot and wait for the Xevo G2 XS to repopulate in the DHCP.
7. From RUN or CMD key: ping epc -t check communication has been established and the IP address matched the DHCP entry.
