SYMPTOMS

• Xevo G2-XS QTof source pressure test leak warning 
• Blocking the single check valve 10SCV (6063338) with a finger eliminates the error and the source pressure test completes

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS QTof
• Xevo G2-XS Tof

CAUSE

Air leaks due to dust stuck in the gap of the single check valve 10SCV (6063338).

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the single check valve 10SCV (6063338).
2. Hold the base of the arrow while making a cylinder with your hands.
3. You can hear the valve opening when you blow air from your mouth very fast or with nitrogen in the direction of the arrow to remove dust that is likey causing the check valve to fail. If blowing through the check valve is not sufficient, clean it with organic solvent such as methanol followed by blowing through it with air/nitrogen. 
4. Reinstall the single check valve 10SCV (6063338). The source pressure test should now pass without error.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If this doesn’t help, replace the single check valve 10SCV (6063338) or trap bottle assembly .
