Veff changes to 1000 after updating in MassLynx - WKB239025

SYMPTOMS

• Veff can be updated for correction, but when window is opened again, the value is set to 1000

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS
• SYNAPT G2-Si
• MassLynx

CAUSE

This occurs when the Veff is changed in the Acquisition Settings without using the Veff Calculator.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the the Acquisition Settings.
2. Use the Veff Calculator to change the Veff.
3. Click Update .
4. DO NOT manually specify the new Veff.
