MassLynx begins acquiring data without waiting for inlet start when using APGC - WKB206621

SYMPTOMS

• No injection on APGC option fitted to the Xevo MS
• The GC inlet shows "waiting for preprun", although the GC inlet is in a "Ready" state
• MassLynx immediately starts acquiring data. without waiting for an injection start signal from the GC

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.2
• APGC
• Xevo quadrupole MS
• Xevo TOF MS

CAUSE

Injection volume is set to zero (0) in the sample list.

FIX or WORKAROUND

In the MassLynx sample list, set the injection volume to an appropriate value other than zero.
