No communication with Xevo G2-XS - WKB19940

SYMPTOMS

• Still no communication after reboot of electronics
• MassLynx error: "The embedded system is not responding. The system will run in standalone mode."

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

The Waters File Service was not started.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Right-click on Computer and select Manage.
2. Click on the "twistie" or triangle to the left of Services and Applications.
3. Select Services.
4. Select Waters File Service and select Start at the top of the window (or right-click on Waters File Service).
5. Reboot MS.
