CAUSE
Failed Leybold SV40 roughing pump
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Rule out nuisance tripping caused by inrush current
- Check the outlet voltage with a multimeter (180-260 V)
- If the outlet voltage is good replace the Leybold SV40 roughing pump (186006347)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Refurbished rotary pumps can be sourced from regional repair depots if required instead of ordering new. Check locally.
