Set up post-column addition using the divert valve.

PROCEDURE

• Connect the post-column addition solution via one of the fluidics lines. You can switch the line that goes to a fluidics bottle at the valve to run to a solvent bottle if needed.
• Set up the MS method events as follows, adjusting the flow rate, timing, and so on to the desired parameters. For the quads, the method event is found in the Options drop-down menu > Method events. For the Tofs, there is a button in the MS method called Method Events.
• On a quad, if not diverting to waste, it should look like:
