Low leucine enkephalin sensitivity and high detector voltage - WKB121771

SYMPTOMS

• Leucine enkephalin signal is low on the tune page compared with expected value
• Detector optimizes at close to 4000 V

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS QTof

CAUSE

Poor peak shape and resolution are causing the detector to optimize at an artificially high voltage.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Retune the system settings to give good peak shape and resolution.
2. Running the detector setup should now optimize at a lower detector voltage.
