- Negative Ion sensitivity is about one-third of specification.

CAUSE
Tapertips are used on the sample sprayer, instead of picotips.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Install a picotip emitter (186003916 - Emitter, picotip, precut) on the sample sprayer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Picotip emitters are for flow rates <1 µL/min.
Tapertip emitters are for flow rates > 1 µL/min.
