CAUSE
- Aged reagent
- Undissolved reagent
FIX or WORKAROUND
- If a previously clear NaI solution has turned yellow due to aging, do not use it any more
- If the reagent is new, leave it at room temperature overnight to make sure it is clear. A clear sodium iodide solution can be used for calibration.
