"Stop flow input activated" error with ACQUITY I-Class BSM - WKB108155

SYMPTOMS

• Intermittent appearance of "Stop flow input activated" error in ACQUITY console during priming, start flow, or load method conditions 

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class BSM
• Xevo TQD

CAUSE

One of the two stop-flow cables on the rear of the Xevo TQD is loose (for example, not anchored to the connector by the screw).

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reseat/reattach the affected cable using the anchoring screws on the connector and test by setting a flow on the BSM in ACQUITY console after resetting the BSM to clear the error.
