SYMPTOMS

• Xevo G2-XS QTof goes into source standby during calibration
• Calibration does not finish
• "The desolvation gas flow is too low" message in MS console

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS QTof
• MassLynx 
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class

CAUSE

Error on LC is causing inlet error-induced shutdown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Clear error on LC.
2. If clearing the error is not possible, temporarily disable error-induced shutdown.
