SYMPTOMS

• IntelliStart STDM fails to find parent ion
• Signal on Tune page is strong
• Signal detected on manual acquisition from Tune page is strong
• Correct molecular weight entered in the STDM setup
• Correct bottle position selected in STDM setup
• Sample was purged/primed several times

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-S
• MassLynx 4.1
• IntelliStart: Sample Tune and Develop Method (STDM)

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx and the ACQUITY MS console.
2. Reboot the MassLynx acquisition PC.
3. Reboot the EPC.
