Needle wash solvent consumption is too high with Agilent 1290 Infinity Vialsampler - WKB98715

SYMPTOMS

• Needle wash solvent consumption is too high
• Outlet tubing on the peristaltic pump is dropping even if the pump is off
• System had run through about 900 mL of needle wash overnight
• Needle wash solvent consumption zero (the three wheels inside are not drilling)

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent 1290 Vialsampler G7129B
• G7129A  1260 Infinity II Vialsampler VL
• Agilent G7167B

CAUSE

Faulty peristaltic pump

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the peristaltic pump (part 5065-4445).
