Error: "Preheater temperature sensor h/w fault" - WKB92139

SYMPTOMS

• In the ACQUITY Console, the following error appears: "Preheater temperature sensor h/w fault" when trying to set temperature at 50 degrees C.
• Column active preheater over-temp switch h/w fault
• Reset does not resolve this.

CAUSE

Unknown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reseat the active preheater (APH). 
2. Power-off SM-FTN and reseat external cable from CH-A to SM-FTN.
3. Power-on SM-FTN.
4. Set temperature.
