OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Locate the 3.0-volt battery on the CPU 2000 and test it. (When battery voltage is low, the serial number is erased every time the detector loses power.)
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC
- ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector
- ACQUITY UPLC Tunable UV Detector
PROCEDURE
- Remove the battery to test the voltage.
- The positive and negative test spots are located on the underside of the battery. These test spots are on the side opposite the Pin 1 location marker.
- Use a multimeter to check battery voltage.
- If voltage is less than 2.8 V, replace the battery.
