Column manager outlet tubing is blocked - WKB88534

SYMPTOMS

• The tubing to all column manager positions pops out when flow is applied to the system

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager

CAUSE

The outlet tubing from the column manager pod to the MS/PDA or detector is blocked, causing back pressure to all of the CM column positions.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the column manager outlet tubing.
2. Apply flow to the system and inspect for leaks in any of the tubing.
3. If none are present, ensure flow is observed from the end of the outlet tubing to the MS/PDA .
