CAUSE

Back pressure regulator deterioration.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Replace back pressure regulator

      • UPTUV-E (Manufactured November 2005 through March 2010, P/N 186015028)
    2. Part number 700010006
      • ACQUITY UPLC PDA/PDA eLambda Detector (Thermally managed)
      • UPTUVTC (P/N 186015031)
  2. Confirm that a pressure of 250psi is applied when flowing.
