HPLC chromatogram has a lower peak area value than before - WKB86274
Article number: 86274
SYMPTOMS
- Measurement was performed using 2695/2489/2475. Only the chromatogram from 2489 had a smaller peak area value than before (the peak area value from 2475 was the same as before)
- The peak area value from 2489 is about 1/3-1/4 of the previous
- Two components are measured, both areas are low at a same level
- Retention time and peak shape are the same as before
- 2489 lamp hours is 1000 hours
ENVIRONMENT
- 2487 Dual-Wavelength Absorbance Detector
- 2489 UV/Vis Detector
- 2475 Multi-Wavelength Fluorescence Detector
- 2695 Alliance Separations Module
CAUSE
- Poor sensitivity
- Dirty system
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Perform the system cleaning
- Perform the manual calibration
- After equilibration with the initial composition of the measurement conditions, restart the detector
