ACQUITY UPLC H-Class SM-FTN - wash solvent leak - WKB83852

SYMPTOMS

• Wash solvent bottle empties rapidly even when system is off.
• A leak appears on the drip tray under the syringe.

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class SM-FTN

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS SM-FTN

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Bio SM-FTN

• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS SM-FTN

CAUSE

The ferrule that fixes the wash solvent tube to the pump is loose.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the FTN right panel.
2. Tighten the ferrule that fixes the wash solvent tube to the pump.
