Liquid flows out of the degasser exhaust line - WKB73640

SYMPTOMS

• When the degasser is running, liquid is seen flowing out of the degasser exhaust line

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC system
• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Leaking degasser chambers    

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the degasser chambers.
2. Shake each chamber to see if liquid comes out of the vent hole on the back of the chamber.
3. If it does, replace the chamber.
