Verify wavelength calibration.

• Empower all versions
• 2998 ICS v1.30

PROCEDURE

1. Prepare flow cell and flush with an appropriate intermediate solvent before switching to 100% methanol.

2. From the console, select 2998 PDA Detector from the system tree.

3. Select Maintain > Verify Calibration > Start.

4. When complete, the results pane appears.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The 2998 PDA detector automatically runs a series of internal diagnostic tests upon start-up. Wavelength verification is one of the tests run, so if both LEDs are green, the diagnostics passed.
