SYMPTOMS

• High pressure fluctuations
• Check valves are new
• Priming does not resolve issue
• No leaks found

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
• Normal-phase system

CAUSE

Partial blockage of the in-line filter

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Sonicate the in-line filter for 10 minutes and reseat.
2. If sonication does not resolve, replace the filter
