SYMPTOMS
- 2695 plunger homing fault (0) at initialization
- Problem occurs after running buffer through the system
ENVIRONMENT
- Alliance HPLC system
- 2695 Separations Module
CAUSE
The primary pump could not home; possible buildup of buffer salts
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Vent the system (open the vent valve) and reboot the system.
- Prime and flush the system with water.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If high pressure is observed, replace the in-line filter (WAT088084).
