How to get the 2545 to work on Windows 10 and Empower 3 FR4 - WKB68679

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Get a 2545 QGM working with Empower 3 FR4 and Windows 10.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR4
• Windows 10
• 2535/2545/2555 Quaternary Gradient Module

PROCEDURE

1. Load a newer ICS version driver as a base.
2. Reboot the computer.
3. Load the W25X5Q 1.10.1456 Driver.
4. Reboot the computer.
5. Open DHCP.
6. Power-on the 25X5 QGM.
7. Confirm that "Type" is listed in DHCP.
8. Open Empower and Create the system.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When the instrument appears in Run Samples and the Console, you will see the serial number, not an icon. See the attached photos.
